Chinese Held A Mini Olympics Swimming Competition

According to the schedule of the Tokyo Olympic swimming competition, the Chinese held a mini Olympics Swimming Competition with al heats held in the evening and the finals to be held in the morning. All the athletes are members of the national team and Shandong and other provincial teams. The competition to last three days.

The competition was held in Jinan, Shandong Province which will enter the final day today. The World female 50m backstroke record holder, Liu Xiang provided the greatest attractive performance in the 50-meter freestyles.

Yesterday, Liu who is also the Asian record holder in the women’s 50m freestyle, won the women’s group with 24.51 seconds, but it was slower than the 24.25 she returned in the heat a day earlier. Yang Jintong won the men’s championship in 22.79.

Grand Slam winner Ye Shiwen won the 200-meter medley with 2:13.92; Yang Junxuan won the women’s 200-meter freestyle with 1:55.53; Ji Xinjie took the first place in the men’s 200-meter freestyle with in a time of 1:47.70; Peng Xuwei Leading in the women’s 200m backstroke, the result was 2:09.34; Xu Jiayu, Yan Zibei, Zhang Yufei and Yang Junxuan joined forces to win the men’s and women’s 4X100m medley relay in 3:40.56.

  In the men’s 100-meter butterfly, Sun Jiajun, who represented the provincial team, beat the national player Tan Haiyang in the breaststroke and medley with 52 seconds; Liu Zongyu won the first place in the men’s 200-meter medley; Chen Yuhe won the women’s 200-meter butterfly.
