Just in a single day another three (3) Kenyan athletes were added to the ban lists of athletes banned for doping. This came when everyone thought the string of ban on Kenyan will be abated.
Athletics integrity unit ( AIU) announced the ban yesterday. Purity Cherotich got the highest with five years slammed on her for using prohibited substance (Furosemide) and also for tampering (Article 2.1and Article 2.2).
Incase of Alice Jepkemboi Kimutai, she was given three (3) year straight ban after she was found guilty of using testosterone, likewise Maiyo Johnstone Kibert who also bagged three (3) years ban.
