A mercurial Abby Steiner leave up to her name as she stunned the world earlier today at Razor Back Invitation as she coasted to 50.59s wins in open women 400m. She was keenly followed by Shamier Little who finished 50.64s.
In open female 60m, Aleia Hobbs was in different class of her own; breathing in another classical confident of a champion. Hobbs stopped the clock at world leading, meet and facility record and new personal best of 6.98s.
Christopher Bailey was not left out as he coasted to meet record of 45.09s in 400m. Nigerian Emmanuel Bamidele ran 47.06s to place 15th over all.
Nigerian world junior champion, Udodi Onwuzurike was third in 60m in 6.63s behind PJ Austin who finished in 6.58s.
A big question mark of fitness is still hanging on former World champion, Christian Coleman who after slow 6.71s in the heat opted out of the final . Nigerian Raymond Ekevwo came second in 6.80s in open 60m.
