In a surprise moved after he was beaten in 60m last week by Noah Lyle, Trayvon Bromell set a new personal best and iadditional icing on cake with NCAA record at Tiger Paw invitation on Friday (10th).
In the heat, he started with a time of 6.54s against Nigeria Favour Ashe 6.59s. Then strolled into gear in the semi with cool 6.46s and Ashe impressive 6.53s ( year best). Bromell then came out with a blast in the final to nail NCAA existing record by running scintillating 6.42s while Ashe did not turn up for the final.
In the female 400m, Jan’Taijah Jones triumph in 51.89s while Nigeria Imaobong Nse Uko ran personal best of 53.04s. In the men, Elija Godwin won in 45.63s as Nigeria Nathaniel Ezekiel ran 46.58s.
