How Aleia Hobbs Shattered American Record

At last after a remarkable life best indoor performance, Aleia Hobbs finally put an ice on her cake of 2023 indoor outing by shattered an American indoor 60m record on Saturday (18th) at US indoor championship. Hobbs won the final in cool 6.94s to Marybeth Sant Price 7.09s and Destiny Smith-Barnet in 7.11s.

In the men 60m, after Noah Lyles impressive 6.56s run in the semifinal; decided to opt out of final leaving JT Smith to take home the win in 6.53s.

In the 60 hurdles men, it was a tough call between Freddie Crittenden III and Robert Dunning as both recorded 7.49s but Freddie won the duel at the finish line.

The female 60 hurdles was won by Alaysha Johnson in 7.83s.
