At Last Femke Bol Cracked World 400m Indoor Record

After digging under 50s in the indoor 400m this season, Femke Bol knew it’s just a matter of time before she cracks the world record.

But on Sunday (19th) at the Netherlands indoor championship, a confident Bol took the first curve by storm and keep her momentum speed to finish the home straight in an astonishing 49.26s new world record. Her training partner, Lieke Klaver came second in 50.34s.

Isayah Boers won men 400m indoor in 45.72s beating. Pauline Hondema won female long jump with 6.48m jump while David Cairo won the men in 7.66m
